Emma Wheeler has worked for some of the world’s leading brands, both in-house and in consultancy roles, to include General Electric, Avis and Caterpillar Inc. She has over 20 years’ experience in providing communications counsel on public relations, marketing and business development both in the UK and across international markets. Her work with SABIC (Saudi Basic Industries Corporation) for four years involved running an international PR and advertising campaign across five markets and demonstrates a firm understanding of working with high-risk businesses in an international environment.

Emma worked with Burson-Marsteller,leading global PR consultancy, in their corporate division running corporate, financial and B2B programmes and was responsible for GE’scorporate communications in the UK. Emma left Burson-Marsteller as an Associate Director to set up the in-house PR team for Coutts, a global private bank and went on to Avis Europe plc, where she advised on investor relations, internal communications and financial communications as part of the global Avis network. Most recently she has worked with a number of UK law firms, advising managing partners on how to differentiate themselves in an increasingly competitive marketplace; and Butterfly World, which is a new, entrepreneur-led leisure attraction with a strong conservation message; two chief executives of global businesses on raising their personal profiles within the business community; a private bank launching in the UK and a nationwide charity.

Emma is passionate about working with entrepreneurial businesses and her contacts within the UK business world, experience in profile raising for key individuals, considerable media expertise and success-driven work ethic ensures she delivers high quality results for her clients.

She is a graduate in English and Classics from London University and in her spare time loves spending time with her children, running, reading, writing and skiing.
